As part of Scotland’s Nature Festival the Loch Leven staff are having a BioBlitz at Buleigh Sands. The idea will be to find and identify as many species as possible. This will include mammals, birds, insects and maybe even fish!
For more information about Scotland’s nature Festival see here –
Steve will be looking at the botany
Moth traps will be set
We will be pond dipping
No doubt Jeremy will be looking out for birds
The insect surveyors will be out looking at Butterflies, Bees and maybe Damselflies
The Burleigh bioblitz is a free event. If you wish to attend just follow the signs and drop down to the hide. We’ll be around from 10 until 3 on the 26th May.
