Next Generation Birders – An inspiring read!

I discovered this excellent blog this morning whilst preparing to head out on the reserve to do the fortnightly wetland bird survey.

Next Generation Birders is an inspiration to all young people interested in birds, nature and the outdoors.  It’s encouraging to know that there are youngsters developing the skills necessary to maintain the passion for birding that is needed in order to ensure that essential monitoring and conservation work is fulfilled in the future.

I particularly enjoyed the article about cyberbirding through Street view on Google Maps!  A bit lazy, but very imaginative- I’m sure Zack and Jake like to get out sometimes too!
