Grass-cutting season has begun!

Steve and the team of regular Wednesday volunteers have been busy over the last few weeks cutting and baling the wildflower grasslands at Burleigh and Mary’s Knowe.

The BCS allen scythe mowers, with detachable hay rake and mini-baler, makes easy work of the large grassy areas.  With the help of Alan Reid, Sandy McTavish and Emily Thomas we have been able to get these areas cut and baled in double quick time.  Steve’s ability to keep the machinery in working order has also played a large part in the smooth operation!
