A great day out at Kinross Show

Steve and I very much enjoyed our day out at Kinross Show, were we took the opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics with visitors, including water-borne access, developments with the Heritage Trail, our busy events schedule, and general management and wildlife issues at Loch Leven.

I was particularly taken with Enid Brown’s Kinross-shire honey, made by bees in Mawcarse, and the Drakes of Hazard- an excellent team of ‘display ducks’ expertly herded by a skillful sheep (duck) dog.  I think the highlight of the event for Steve was the fantastic procession of vintage and modern tractors.  A great day out with fun for all the family- well done to the organisers- many thanks for the invite, and we look forward to next year’s event.
